Interactive Art
New time based media project by human interaction
Screen Revolution
In our era of digital dominance, screens redefine space and perception, blurring reality with virtuality. Touch screens immerse us in synesthetic experiences, merging the physical and digital realms. The cyborg paradigm symbolizes this fusion of human and machine, challenging traditional boundaries of identity and interaction
Cyborg (1)
CRT& Holography
A cyborg is an information organism that is constantly dispersed, altered, and exchanged. The description of the cyborg's sensorium in terms of time, space, form, light, and the body seem like a synopsis for a video attraction. In many way diverse images from video are tied to time.
The cyborg project is an example of how use of technology can transform a space into a functional piece of architecture and create a sensory experience for participants.
Cyborg (2)
Arduino & silicone & TFT touch screen monitor
Cyborg (2) seek to build a bridge between silicon-based intelligence and life and carbon-based creatures, including replication, dissemination, and survival and reproduction in hostile environments.
Vacuum Time
LED Light
A vacuum time is an interactive artwork representing the space between the earth and the sky. Technically, this space is devoid of matter. Through the use of sound, participants can interact with the artwork by speaking or making noise, and hear their sounds played back to them in a loop. This interaction serves as a metaphor for the way that sound travels through space and invites us to contemplate the vastness and emptiness of the universe.
Infinity Time
LED Light
The Infinite installation on display offers the audience a unique perspective on the concept of infinity. With the use of an infinite mirror, viewers can witness an infinite passing of time, creating a mesmerizing visual display.
Spherical Time
Holography, Touch Screen, P5js
Time, speed, and duration vary for individuals in their personal experiences; however, from the scientific aspect, they are constant measurements. Spherical Time empowers the participant with tools to change the movement of time based on their interests. Time as an imaginary part of the duration of a non-linear life. The differences in human perception will lead to a variety of choices in interaction, affecting the holographic image and accompanying sounds.
Next Flight
Holography, P5js, Painting
Next Flight, a work focused on the duration of birds’ migrations considering climate change. This project was made with holography that allows the audience to see the artwork from three dimensions representing the visual perception of the universe and the illusion of movement of the bird.
Related to this project, I did a public art project with Eco-Hub for UT Dallas. In that group project, I worked on climate change and wildfire topics and showed the birds' migration and the environment's extension by painting on a shed.
